In-House Services
Our Service Centres are equipped with the personnel, equipment, and machinery needed to conduct repairs for all the valve and automation products that ITR Services represents. ITR Services Valve Service Solutions team is trained to inspect, evaluate, assemble to factory standards, providing our customers with comprehensive service reports. Our facilities are equipped to perform a range of NDE, Along with hydrostatic and pneumatic testing. We have the capability to test a wide array of valve products ranging from the small (1/2”) to the large (42”), and everything in between.
Upon arrival every valve is dismantled, cleaned, abrasive blasted (if required) then inspected for defects, and a detailed repair report is established. All actuators are checked for defects and repaired as required.
Valves bodies, gates, seats, lifting lugs Wye bodies are assessed and refurbished as required. Actuators are tested for cycling and open/closed stops are set. Pneumatic and hydraulic actuators are tested to full air pressure or normal hydraulic operating pressure.
After assembly all valves are hydro tested to rated capacity and stroked to ensure sealing of all packing’s, and open/closed limits are set.
Upon completion Valves are tagged and painted to customers requirements.
According to the International applicable standards, we only use Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and maintain a substantial inventory to ensure a quick and timely turnaround. To complement our inventory, we are able to communicate with Valves manufacturers/Vendors to maintain a wide range of critical spares along with quick ship programs where possible, further enhancing our ability to meet ever-tightening deadlines for the repair and refurbishment of valves.
Spare Parts Inventory Program—Do you have valves that have known regular repairs or spare parts? Ask us how we can design a program for you!
Field Services
Evaluation and Inspection—Our trained personnel can complete valve evaluations and walk downs in-situ. Eliminate future issues and reduce downtime through early detection and analysis.
Preventative Maintenance—Procedures such as proper greasing and packing adjustments ensure optimal operation for the long term, making sure you won’t have any surprises.
Repair—Our factory trained and fully equipped personnel provide quick, onsite repairs for common issues. If the job is too complex to be completed onsite, the valve can be shipped to our In-House service team for a comprehensive repair.
Calibration/Adjustments—Valves require properly trained personnel to ensure the calibration and adjustments are completed correctly. Our technical staff is specifically trained to do so with elite level precision to warrant a longer valve life.
Testing - Hydrostatic testing (also known as “hydro-testing” or “pressure testing”) is the process of checking Valves for strength and leakage. Hydrostatic testing is often seen after shutdowns or repairs as equipment must be checked and validated before going into service operation again. Testing must be done when the equipment is shut down in order to monitor for any abnormal conditions or signs of leaking.
The hydrostatic test consists of filling a piece of equipment with a fluid at test pressure, for a given period of time, to check the existence of leakages – The test is passed if the equipment bears the test pressure without any leakage.
The hydro test is executed by our skilled personnel by using chlorinated water (or other colored fluids) to check the existence of leakages in pressure-containing equipment. Before starting a hydrostatic test, we are verifying the testing fluid chemistry and how it may impact the equipment.
